The project is split into two distinct legs; ‘Car-to-Car’ and ‘Car-to-Truck’ compatibility. CIC is involved in the Car-to-Truck part of the project and is Workpackage 1 leader. Front, side and rear truck underrun protection will be considered by the project, with special attention focused on energy absorption front underrun devices and the development of relevant test procedures.
